I'm Loving

our new Calligraphy Print sheets from Pottery Barn.  Thank you, mom and dad!!

this super-cool Willow House clock.

This $6 catch-all basket for our ottoman/coffee table.  And my fuzzy slippers.  And my spotted pj pants.

:-)

This awesome crate I scored from Hobby Lobby for 9 bucks.

And nutella on toast this morning.

And this?  This was one of my favorite Christmas gifts.  You recognize it?

It's made by the lovely Lisa Leonard.  Have you checked out her new site?  You can find her blog there, too.

I fell in love with her "Brave Love" necklace and the story behind it.  I bought my mom, friend, and grandmother one this year...and I got one in return.  It's truly intricate and lovely and such a treasure to me as it keeps those most important to me one glance in the mirror away.

I know you don't know me, Lisa, but your work is gorgeous, one of a kind, and incredibly meaningful.  What an inspiration you are!

And just because I'm constantly playing with the camera and The Pioneer Woman's photoshop actions....

I grabbed "The Blue Sky Book" recently for $3 and it's definitely one of my new favorites.

What did you receive this year that's pulling at your heart?

  4. Oh, I've been wanting that sheet set!!! Are they soft?! That's been my only hesitation. I love to be able to wash sheets on HOT only to have them become softer and softer :) Happy New Year!!!

  7. I love everything and especially that clock! It's so pretty.

Glad to see you are enjoying your new camera. What kind do you have? I am really wanting to get one. It's kind of silly not too since I'm a graphic designer. It's nice to have something to take photos with rather than paying for stock photography that is overused too often.

I would have to say, the thing I got for Christmas that I can't wait to use is my new miter saw. I plan to do many projects with it. Can't wait.

    Happy New Year!

  9. Love the books shot Shaunna! I am also a huge Pioneer Woman fan, which action did you use for the books? I got a few antique book finds myself for Christmas...a lovely blue/floral one called The Curiosity Shop that I know you would love!! Would go perfect with that stack. :) I will have to drop a picture of it for you. I also got a really neat old cookbook that is a gorgeous solid teal color.

Love those sheets also! They look so elegant. And awesome Hobby Lobby find!!

  12. I loved everything... and your style! I can't remember how I found your blog, but was hooked right away~ beautiful photography and inspirational posts. Your playroom remodel caught my eye since I have a similar project in mind. A contractor ball parked it at $40k which seems steep to me. I'd love to chat with you a minute about realistic costs ,,, I may email you if you don't mind! Back to work in the design world... happy new year~
